Rusdiharjo Threatened 20 years In Jail

(Jakarta) - Rusdiharjo, ex RI’s ambassador for Malaysia Ariken Tarigan, and ex Chief of Immigration in RI’s embassy in Malaysia threatened 4 years in jail minimal and 20 years maximal in case wild’s immigration cost RI’s ambassador in Malaysia.

Attorney Corruption’s court (Tipikor) Suwarji punished both of them had guilty to chapter 2 jo chapter 18 Law no 31 which changed become Law no 20, 2001.
“Rusdihardjo and Ariken Tarigan had agreed corrupted and getting wealth for private and another else. Since January, 2004 until October 2005, Rusdi got 6.189.351 RM, 30-40 thousand RM per month”, Suwarji said at the court at Corruption Court in South Jakarta, Wednesday, (6/1).

Four charges for Rusdiharjo who read by the Attorney was, immigration cost which not give to the State as credit not tax, second, not give the differences between Malaysian Curs (RM) to US Dollar. Third, not give the cost for visa and fourth take cost for letter that actually are free of charged.
After the Court, one of Rusidharo’s lawyers, Junimart Girsang disputed to Attorney’s punishment. “Is not true that they are together and let tit happened” Junimart said.

The justice who lead the Court, Murdiono was held about less than an hour started at 9 am until 10 am. This court will continued next Wednesday. (Dhita, Adi/Trans.Ocha)
