Aidir : Depkumham Not Counter Act The Village Leader To Join Party

(Jakarta, 28/2) – State Order Director of Directorate General Common Law Administration (Ditjen AHU) at Human Right and Law Department (Depkumham) Aidir Amin Daud declared that their side doesn’t have right to counter act Parade Nusantara Party join the political party (parpol) verification at Depkumham, Monday (25/2).

“The Parade Nusantara Party come here as individual, and we don not have conditional that declares village leaders can not become parpol manager, anyone could,” Aidir explain it to the journalist in the Depkumham building, Jakarta.

Aidir explained that it is the authority of Internal Affair Minister (Mendagri) forbidden the village leaders become parpol manager through Government Regulation No. 72 of 2005. “We (Depkumham-red) only accepted and don’t know the status. If the are village leaders or civil state employee joining political party, so there will be another mechanism. Let the internal affair minister takes the act,” he revealed.

Parade Nusantara Party is a new party that it support comes from village leaders, tradition elder, religion elder, and village forces. The first goal of the parpol is demand the village prosperity right in Indonesia. (Mimie/teks.Nurseffi/trans.Devi)
