Education And Health Budget Should Not Cutting Down

(Jakarta, 23/2) – The budget for education and healthy should not cut down in the name of state efficiency. According to the cultural observer Romo Mudji Sutrisno, the budget’s cutting down will decrease the service of education and health for the poor people.

“The decrease of 15 percent could be in the table because of the budget. But for the peoples, the impact are much more children could not go to school and the poor peoples could not get medication at the hospital anymore,” he said in Jakarta, Saturday (23/2).

According to him, the budget cutting down until 15 percent is not pure for budget efficiency but exactly for financing the country debt.

“Our APBN are finances by our macro economics. The macro economics finances by debt. Until now those debt could not support the capability to financing our selves. That’s why the cutting down goes to,” said Romo Mudji. (Lala/Teks.Adi/Trans.Devi)
