Panja The New RUU SBSN Discuss about Sharia Definition

(Jakarta) – Working Committee Meeting (Panja) The Draft of Law (RUU) Government Sharia Marketable Securities (SBSN) now are discuss the editorial problem, in order the definition and sharia term in Arabic necessity or not to be translate into Indonesian language.

“If all translated into bahasa Indonesia it’s difficult, but if there will be term that will not translate, it will be given general certainty about those definition, and this general definition has already discuss. Beside that the construction of Sharia new surveillance arrangement has also in discussions.” said General Directorate Peoples Counseling of Religion Department, Nasaruddin Umar, in the close meeting of Panja RUU SBSN in People Representative House (DPR), Jakarta, Monday (11/2)

Meanwhile, the Panja member RUU SBSN, Drajad Wibowo, explains the problem of translation is not an essential matter. “Later we will be used with it. After all we are commonly used foreign terms that absorbed into Indonesian language including Arabic,” Drajad explain.
In the same time, The Head of Fiscal Policy of Finances Department, Anggito Abimanyu, said that the government and DPR try to speed up the discussion of RUU SBSN. “This RUU will have strategic value for investment and the depositors.
