The Price Of World’s Oil Penetrated Record $101 per Barrel

(Jakarta, 21/2) – After weakness, the world oil’s prices back pushed until touched record $101 per barrel at the trade, Wednesday, impact the worry of supplying and the worry to the USA’s economics.

The prices of USA’ oil type of Light Sweet at the closing rose 74 cent to US $100, 74 per barrel, after had touched US $ 101, 32 per barrel. That number almost equals the highest record that happened, that’s US $ 101, 70 per barrel that happened on April 1980 after Iran Revolution. Meanwhile the oil type London Brent at the closing softened to 98, 42 US $ per barrel.

That will longer trend of increased of the oil’s prices after on last Tuesday closed at US $ 100, 10 per barrel caused the OPEC expectation will keep it, or even reduce the their production on the meeting next month.
