The Supplying System Slows The Alutsista Stocks

(Jakarta, 25/2) – The finances minister Sri Mulyani explained the supplying system of main instrument weapons system (alutsista) in the Defense Department is too long. The impact is the budget implementation for alutsista getting slow.

“It was so ironic, at the time alutista expense needs is increasing but the capability of budget allocation absorbent constantly decreasing. Until now there are 103 alutsista export loan agreements that have not signed. 27 from it are neglected since 2002,” explained Sri Mulyani in the working meeting with the People’s Representative Council (DPR) Commission I in the DPR building, Jakarta.

According to Finances Minister, these long supplying processes are influence on the increase of cost in two different side of payment. First the increase of commitment fees for the planning loan and second the escalation of goods price when doing supplying.

Perceived those things, the member of DPR Commission I, Mutaminul Ulla, expecting that the supplying implementation of alutsista should be shorten and getting faster. “To make that things faster, so I evaluate we needs special expert in economy techno military in finances department and Bapenas,” He explained.
