Indonesia’s Economy Faced Financial “Bubbling”

(Jakarta) – Econit Advisory Group predicted in year 2008 there will be financial “bubbling” which could impact negatively at Indonesia's economy, especially in credit consumption sector.

As told by Econit Director Rizal Ramli at “Indonesia Economy 2008” in Jakarta, Monday (16/1)
“2008 is the year of bubble. The financial balloon formed since 2007 will increase to a more extent especially credit consumption sector such as motor vehicle credit, credit card, property, commercial, and subprime lending symptom,” Rizal said.

SBY – JK government in 2008, according to Econit, will actively issue bubble statement in high optimistic statement form which inappropriate with reality in real sector and society.

“Like the government’s economic growth target in 2008 which settled higher than analysts’ estimation consensus. It has been a tradition that early year target is higher later being corrected over and over until end of the year,” explained Rizal.

According to Econit, government’s ability to predict and overcome the effects of financial “bubbling” would briefly determine Indonesia’s economy condition in 2008. (Nurseffi,Adi/Teks.Lala)
